In her forties and married with four children, Aheda talks often about growing up in an Australia that posed a lot of challenges for a young, Muslim, Arabic girl. As an active person, who liked to participate in community activities and sport, she found herself restricted due to her cultural and religious beliefs.
As years went by, she noticed there were many girls and women that were obeying their Islamic beliefs (dressing modestly) and thus missing out on the many opportunities – especially sporting – that Australia has to offer.
Ahiida was her solution to the problem. Brilliant sports clothes for the dedicated, the religious, the shy and anyone that might just want a little extra sun protection.
Ahiida is all about choice and freedom. It’s a brilliant simple solution.
